Christmas Cookie Countdown-Day 3

Thumbprint Cookies

• 2 sticks of butter
• 1 cup of sugar
• 2 cups of flour
• 1/4 tsp salt
• 1 cup chopped nuts
• 2 tsp vanilla extract 

Cream together the butter and sugar. Mix in flour gradually. Add the salt, nuts, and vanilla and mix well. Roll into balls and bake at 400° for 10 minutes. Fill with filling of your choice.
