April Meeting

Our April Meeting was, as always a lot of fun.  Our speaker, Sharon Bankhead, spoke about the different stages of a mom's life.  From birth to grandmother and beyond.  From one stage to the next she shared some important moments that she remembers, and the people that helped make those memories.  Be sure to make your own memories and don't get bogged down in things that are ultimately beyond our control.  Remember how much influence you have on your children and the other children around you and use that influence for good.  

Our craft was led my our very own Christine Rankin.  We made Hobo bags and it was so much fun and EASY!  If you did not bring fabric or you were not able to make the meeting the video link showing how to make it is on our Facebook page.

There was a bittersweet moment, when Dani announced that she will be stepping down as coordinator for next year's Mom2Mom. Dani has been a great leader and has done so much for Mom2Mom this year!  That's the bitter part lol the sweet part is that our new coordinator will be Kara Duke! Kara is seeking any and all ideas for things you'd like to see next year.  So feel free to leave a comment here, or you can comment or message us on Facebook. 

Next month is our last meeting until September when school starts back up, so don't miss it and bring a friend!
