December Meeting aka PARTY!

Well the next time we meet it will be 2012...a new year. So to close out 2011 we had a fabulous December Mom2Mom Party! Complete with Christmas dinner, cookie exchange (look for recipes in the tab at the top), ugly sweater contest (everyone was a winner!), speed gift wrapping contest, Christmas song pictionary, and a beautiful Mentor Mom message from Jan.

We talked about traditions, new and old. Amanda started a new one this season. She wrapped her little ones' holiday themed books and each day they get to unwrap one and read it that day.  Mindy is going to start having a "Birthday Party" for Jesus each Christmas morning ( LOVE this idea), Dani's father gave her a pearl each year, then strung them onto a necklace for her to wear on her wedding day. This is just a few of some great ideas for traditions and ways to celebrate the season.

Jan told us a heart warming story about why she collects "Joy" items. Her mother's name was Joy which is a good enough reason in itself, but Jan also shared what Joy stands for.

We had two new ladies this month! Welcome Amy Scott and Victoria McCleskey! We hope you had fun and we hope to see you in January!
